Deschutes County Fair 2021

Trying to take 4h pix w a very interested buck in the between the 2 does 🙈😄

EARL

OPAL

PRINCESS

After his rabbits passed inspection Jax volunteered to be an inspector  to help get everyone checked in

We camped at the fairgrounds again, in a different, larger, more spread out location. It was a pretty good hike into the fairgrounds or if your timing was good you could catch a ride on  the 'people mover' - a trailer being pulled by a tractor.
The views were pretty from our spot, the weather cooperated, giving us some rain a couple mornings to help break up the high 90 temps

Jaxon in Showmanship working w his favorite judge Lana

Group members

Winning a Blue and a callback

Being asked to represent the Small Animal Barn and talk about 4H and his projects w the local news -
EARLY one morning (5AM!)
He did a great job, being in the spotlight and talking about himself is not something he loves, but he did well and had fun

Jaxon and his French Lops did very well this year! Winning Champion and Reserve Champion

Opal Was Overall Reserve Champion

Walking through the Nelly concert on our way to the Rodeo

Of course he needs to dunk the cheerleaders every year!

All of his club members had a really good year on the show table - lots of hard work paid off!

Alexis showing Gilbert -
I'm pretty sure she's talked Jax into showing goats next year!
