Golf w EE

Golf is fun, golf sucks, golf is challenging, golf is a four letter word, golf is great!
Atleast that's how I still feel, maybe when your good at it you don't feel this way?
E did great, he only threw the ball a few times (not the club), since he could get it to go further this way as opposed to hitting it w a club!

Cooling off at Haystack

headed over to the calmer, less algae side

Paddling over w our floaties
He needed more of a challenge, I guess. So, he paddles over on the floatie to the beach, pulling his kayak instead. 🙄

It a little blurry, forgot my real camera again, but Mo and Jaxon jumping off the dock. Morgan was the fearless, just run and jump; Jax took a couple practice runs and then finally gathered up the courage to jump, yep this from the swim team guy?!
Dawson if pretty fearless like his mama

Morgan sent me this picture. The angle was perfect. I laugh every time I see it.
Dawson really does love his Mimi, I think.
Don't turn your back on him.
So many ways to caption this 😂

Barn Cats

Our two nearest additions, Linus and Lucy, the great and fierce mousers of the barn!
Lets get honest here, they basically haven't even made it out of Jaxon's arms yet.

Lucy

Although they did come from a pig barn, so we have high hopes of their future rodent control abilities.

First and Last day of 5th grade

Jaxon had a great year. He was recognized for his hard work several time this year w awards such as Cougar Character - Initiation, Self manager (3 years running), Mathlete to name a few. He also was chosen to design a power point and present it during the last Morning Gathering of the school year on Optimistic and Pessimistic.

By the looks of it he not only lost several teeth this year, but a leg too!

Fortunately, he was selected to stay at this school for his Middle School years, as they decrease the 6th grade student body from 60ish to 30, it was a tight squeeze.

Pre and Post Sawtooth adventures w my 2 guys

Our camping spot just below Pettit Lake

This year we Followed the Payette River through Idaho to get to the Stanley/Ketchum area, instead of going through the Boise/Mountain Home area.
One of the most beautiful drives through Idaho I've been on.

Thankfully it was free fishing weekend in Idaho on Sawtooth Relay weekend!
Fishing and more fishing. Made better when he found his dads waders.

Pre run snacking, Cider, chips and guacamole.

loving the purple, white and yellow flowers everywhere

The Sawtooths make for a beautiful backdrop

Heading back into Stanley from Ketchum after the relay.
 Galena Summit.

We woke up to a skiff of snow in the valley Sunday morning.

Went to see Redfish Lake. Hadn't been there since I was a kid. The only thing really familiar was how cold and clear the Lake was.

We headed out of Idaho Sunday morning looking to get out of the snow and cold. Thankfully the weather had been nice for the relay on Saturday though.

Love this Picture. Photo credits to Jaxon.

A little target pratice

Finally somewhere he could shoot guns!

Koda loves catching the flying embers, keeps him busy for hours

Jon day Fossil Beds - Sheep Rock
Wandered our way back to home and checked out the John day Fossil Beds

This is what I remember of Redfish Lake
