Pre and Post Sawtooth adventures w my 2 guys

Our camping spot just below Pettit Lake

This year we Followed the Payette River through Idaho to get to the Stanley/Ketchum area, instead of going through the Boise/Mountain Home area.
One of the most beautiful drives through Idaho I've been on.

Thankfully it was free fishing weekend in Idaho on Sawtooth Relay weekend!
Fishing and more fishing. Made better when he found his dads waders.

Pre run snacking, Cider, chips and guacamole.

loving the purple, white and yellow flowers everywhere

The Sawtooths make for a beautiful backdrop

Heading back into Stanley from Ketchum after the relay.
 Galena Summit.

We woke up to a skiff of snow in the valley Sunday morning.

Went to see Redfish Lake. Hadn't been there since I was a kid. The only thing really familiar was how cold and clear the Lake was.

We headed out of Idaho Sunday morning looking to get out of the snow and cold. Thankfully the weather had been nice for the relay on Saturday though.

Love this Picture. Photo credits to Jaxon.

A little target pratice

Finally somewhere he could shoot guns!

Koda loves catching the flying embers, keeps him busy for hours

Jon day Fossil Beds - Sheep Rock
Wandered our way back to home and checked out the John day Fossil Beds
