Easter 2013

The last time Jaxon did a community easter egg 'scramble' he was two. He was pretty excited to give this one a try and had lots of questions and worked up a game plan as we were standing and waiting for it to begin. The game plan was forgotten once the horn sounded and the loot was a bit on the lighter side. I think he was pretty overwhelmed by all the crazieness of it all once it started, but he had fun and ended up with some fun treasures!

PROM 2013

Morgan's Senior Prom -

So hard to believe it's here and gone

She had always said she was going

whether with a date or with a group of girlfriends

She attended her prom at the Capitol Building

She looked as beautiful as ever!

Ethan's first Prom

I guess I should be use to, by now,

the differences between a boy and a girl

While Morgan had thought and planned for this night for awhile

Ethan  put it all together in much less time

thank goodness for the convenience of tux rentals.

Although only 15 1/2, the prom was some needed motivation for improving his grades

And I needed to be known as a nice mom once in a while ;)

plus, Victor reassured me that Ethan was mature enough -

When I had the group pose for pictures the boys stood next to each other

Made me laugh, then the girls straightened them out.

So what did we do on a night without teenagers around?
What else but cosmic bowling!
I had been in l&d all day
and Mitch had been home with jaxon in all the prom day excitement.
Jaxon picking up on all the going on was very ancy himself
By the time I got home and took pictures
Jaxon was ready to go do something fun too!

The first tooth came out with a little help from me, I couldn't handle it dangling there anymore, but unfortunately I was a bit out of practice and it took a couple tries to keep the floss from sliding off. What a trooper though. The second tooth thankfully came out on it's own while he was eating lunch at school, much easier on all of us!
 I think what has shocked me the most was that it was an awful reminder of just how old he is... so sad how fast time goes by!
