Nursing School - Class of 2013

Wow, what can I say about it.... I'm glad to be here, can't wait till it's done, amazingly time consuming and stressful, but what an opportunity!

I just love my class mates, what a bunch of motivated and intellegent individuals. They inspire and support me - it's nice to be on this side of the process where we can be supportive, helpful and truely friends because getting into the program was very competitive.

This is one of the basic 'manaquins'. Here we are working on sterile central lines.

Exciting to think one day this will be a real person!

A weekend in Pocatello

It was a busy weekend in Pocatello with so many little league games to watch, but it's so fun being able to be close enough that we get to do this. Mitch's sister Mistie and her son Jesse were in town as well, an added bonus!

Next was Abby's teeball game, teaching her to give a thumbs
up solved the problem of her running off the field for
high fives, such a cutie!

After all the morning games were done we reconviened in the afternoon, after naps, at Grandpa and Grandma Lusk's house up Mink Creek Road. This would be one of the last times we would be able  to spend family time together there. I took the little cousins for one last hike and played in the creek and of course took lots of pictures!

It's funny what the kids took as treasures from Grandma and Granpa's house. Jaxon, Tate and Ryan all found hats they they loved. Little birds and knick knacks were also high on the list along with precious little Beanie Babies that Grandma had picked out for each of the grandchildren to have.
