Long Over Due
City Creek Photos -
It had been years since we did family pictures - lets face it, brothers can be pretty obstinate about picture time. The last photos we had were missing some of the newest (5 year newest) Lil cousins and not just Ellie.
I really enjoy doing this, although quite stressful scheduling a time when everyone can be there and then trying to hurry and catch the little ones, but mostly the big ones, before the get too unruly!
The Lusks - 9/2012
A big thanks to my wonderful sister-in-laws for always helping with the pictures and my brothers, between us all, we can usually find a couple pictures that turn out great!
Ethan 14, Morgan 17, Ellie 6wks,
Jaxon 5, Abby 4, Tate 5, Miah 6, Ryan 7
One of my favorite things is going through all the pictures afterwards and laughng at all the 'outakes'. Clearly Robs face says it all about our photos shoots! Dave apparently is taking a quick nap, Mitch is wondering if he can sneak out the back and Dan's about to use Ellie as his excuse!
Way to stay strong my little nieces, nephews and children, your setting a good example for the big guys!

Boating w brothers
Friday Aug. 10 I get a text from Dave, my brother, who informs me they're almost to Bear Lake, am I coming? They being his 2 boys and my other little brother who 'snuck in' and hooked up his boat to Dave's truck. Dan, in the words of Dave, had to sneak because he and Jill had just had their first daughter, which meant Jill was alone for the first time over night with Ellie. It was a quick and fun camping and boating trip with two of the funiest guys I know.
Dan dressed in his best - ready to get the boating going!
A favorite of everyones is just jumping off the boat into the Lake

"Let's go for a train ride" - Jaxon
One of Jaxon's favorite things to do is to ride on the Trax commuter train.
So we hop on and wander around SLC and find lots to do.
Our first stop was about 300 east to watch the 24th of July parade. This is a really long parade that is attended by thousands of spectators, much larger than the Paris Id parade that we had previously been to. With no candy being thrown, float after float(w no end in sight) and being only 4 feet tall and not being able to see over all the spectators, and your legs falling asleep from sitting on my shoulders, Jaxon finally had had enough.
So back on Trax and headed to the Gateway.
Ethan thought he could make it through the fountains without getting wet.. haha this one got him, loved his little leap!
Another train ride. This time by the mini UPRR train
celebrating their 150th anniversary
And lastly, a stop on to the moon to pick up moon rocks
