Lone Pine Hike

We set out to kick our own a$$es / hike Burma in Smith Rock this morning. It has been almost 2 months since we've hiked it, deciding that this would be our new challenge for the year, but then Snowmagedan and 2 different sickness have kept us away. 

When we got there we learned that there was a rock climbing event going on and the park was crowded and not a parking spot to be found.

So we drove around to the back side of the mountain and decided to do a little exploring and soak up some sun

It ended up being a lot less strenuous of a hike than we originally had planned on doing for the day, which was probably all we could handle since we're healing from injuries and illnesses.

Getting everyone out

Every once in a while most of us have the same day or at least part of a day off at the same time.

We decided we all needed to get out and clear our lungs and enjoy some sun.

There has been a lot of snow and flu around these parts!

This is E jogging w me, Mo riding a bike w Jaxon and Dawson way up front!

Love these kiddos! 

Love exercising in Dry Canyon, it's close, well maintained, no vehicles and nice views. 

A nice option when you can't get onto the mtn trails yet.

Lots of crashes by Dawson and definitely snow ball fights along the way!

Using up the last of the snow

The snow was so deep for weeks, too deep to pull him around on a sled behind the 4 wheeler in the fields. When we did start pulling him on the sled they would break into pieces. Dragging 100+ lbs on a little piece of plastic just doesn't work out any more!

So we stepped it up a bit! Fun little afternoon!
