We had been wanting to get back to Priest Hole after having such a great time there two years ago on a Labor Day Weekend. We finally made it the weekend before Labor Day this year.
Priest Hole is in the Painted Hills District on the John Day river, which makes for beautiful and colorful scenery.
It's a fun area where we did kayaking, paddle boarding, fly fishing, biking, swimming, and camping.
Mitch finally got to try out the paddleboard
Jaxon and the dogs out on the John Day River
In the evenings a little of the smoke would move in and make incredible sunsets
Mitch got in a lot of fly fishing
Jaxon kayaking off into the sunset!
