Blue Ribbon in Showmanship
Conformation w Gus
Open Class w Princess

Barn duty is a big part of having their animals there and showing. They can be paired up w someone their age or w one of the young members to mentor or by themselves. It always great seeing these kids taking cares of their responsibilities and enjoying it as well.
Volunteering at the 4-H's Over the Clover Café is another task these kids look forward to. Jaxon and Aaron are supposed to be cleaning out the cupboards before opening, but couldn't resist playing w the industrial size mixing parts!
Sneaking in playtime in between Showing and Duties
Getting in a round of golf w Grandpa Matt.
Grandpa Matt and Dilene came to visit and stayed the whole week w us at the fair. They were such great sports and really seemed to enjoy it and getting involved as well.
Goofing around out at the trailer
Waiting for Big and Rich concert to begin
This was just a little bit before we walked out. The beginning of the concert and the tribute to the military and veterans was really enjoyable but when the rapping cowboy and then spiderman came out and the concert turned into a hodge podge of pop music and ridiculousness, we left.
We were getting pretty nauseous and only two mild rides in, we bailed on the rides and wandered the fairgrounds
Dawson is a tougher rider than I am.
