Tuesday night Jaxon wanted to practice for his 1 mile run that he was having in school the next day. He wanted to make sure he beat lasts year time of 7:30. We marked it off and he ran it in just over 7 min. He also loves my garmin running watch.... so purple band and all we set the pace to 7 min for his run the next day. Well he ran it in 6:50! Love his determination and competitiveness.

Jaxon knowing I had gone to Misery Ridge recently wanted to go now as well. Wednesdays are early out days, so we planned it for then, the same day he sprinted the mile. It was a beautiful day, nice and warm and so much fun. He's a pretty good trooper, he did great going up, he still has a little anxiety about going down the backside and he wore a black shirt and black shorts and got a little warm jogging back along the river. All in all he did great.
And now onto the baseball field for a game tonight!
