We headed to the Sisters Wilderness looking for a Christmas tree for our house and Ethan, Kylee and Morgan were searching for their own as well. It's a beautiful area and have always been happy w the trees we've found.

and Ethan cut the one the girls had thought was 'the one' for their home
It had dumped freezing rain the night before so all dirt roads up higher were a sheet of ice. The kids had come prepared w sleds but to our surprise there wasn't any snow yet. So they made the best of it and sledded down the ice roads!
This was as close to family pictures as it got this year. It's really hard to coordinate all schedules and all have a day off together
And a fire to warm up w at the end of our day
