It's the end of summer and very beginning of fall, the boys have gone back tp school and Morgan and I steal away on Mondays to go play. It's been great. Today we hiked about 10 miles in between Smith Rock and White Pine. We set out w a plan and a trial but on return we ventured off course to look at shiny things, climb rocks and then try and find a short cut back.
Smith Rock State Park - a lil smoky this morning
We spotted those rocks and a shiny thing and went exploring. The shiny thing was water capture for wildlife that was non functioning anymore.

He followed us onto the rocks but was pretty nervous about it and sat in a hole and waited for us
We stopped at the Depot for Salad, bbq nachos and cider.
