Just up the road from our house we get to play in the Deschutes river. This spot is just above Steelhead Falls, a popular cliff jumping area.
From this little edge we can jump in, it's probably 10 feet deep at this spot, but the river widens out and slows down into a nice pool like area.
After jumping in we swim out to the middle and find the large boulder to play on
Then we can jump from this point and swim/float on down to our little picnic area
Just like the river critters do it, too! (maybe a mink?)
