Jaxon was unable to run in the district meets on October 23 in Bend because he had pulled his groin the Thursday before in practice. He decided to sit that meet out and look forward to going to the State meet just outside of Salem on October 28.

His leg felt good and he ran well. It was a pretty windy day but thankfully the rain stopped and held off until the races were finished.
In his race there were just shy of 300 boys. Middle school 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
The home stretch! He did well just over 13 min. placed him at 45th out of 280ish. So proud of him!
His running buddy finished 5th in her race.
It was just the 2 of them that went to State from their little school
