What a difference a year makes. Jaxon is really into baseball this year, sometimes I have to remind him he can't go get a ball that was hit to the third base positon when you're playing first!
I caught him trying to steal home the other day... apparently he's been watching Ethan play.... in a couple years, lil buddy.
He was really struggling with his hitting the first couple games/practices, granted he's only 5, he'd be watching the coach the whole time, instead of watching the ball coming in to him. Then a couple Sundays ago Mitch and Ethan threw horrible pitch after horrible pitch to Jaxon, obviously not meaning to(so I thought), but its not so easy to pitch softly, overhand, on your knees and from only 12 feet away. He'd hit one occasionally but atleast they were having fun. At his next game his coach was pitching to the kids before the game, warming them up; when Jaxon's turn came up he stepped up and ripped one out past his coach. I was so shocked, as was the coach, and Jaxon as well! He just kept knocking them out there, it was so fun and he was having such a great time, so excited! Quite the strategy that Mitch and Ethan had!!
This was a hit, not sure what he's looking at though!
This is Jaxon's friend Fisher, from preschool. They literally almost ran into each other before they realized they knew each other. They had so much fun playing baseball together. So Cute!
