The Second Week of October we headed for St. Charles for a week of hunting and camping. A nice quiet get-a-way. Mitch, Morgan and Ethan had spike elk tags and Jaxon and I had a stack of dvds. It was raining in the valleys on the Thursday before we left and snowing in the mountains, you gotta be die hard to do this!

The colors were so beautiful, especially with the snow that had just come down. Which also high lighted the red juice that Jaxon puked up after getting car sick from all the corners in that canyon!

From what I gather these three really have a good time out there together. The stories they come back with are pretty comical. Glad they enjoy it!

These guys are hunters, up before dawn and in the cold and dark. Unfortunately they didn't kill anything but they did have fun. As for Jaxon and I we stayed cozy in our camping trailer watching movies, roasting hot dogs and giant marshmallows in the afternoon when it was warmest, went fishing a couple times, got some good jogging and bike riding in and of course naps and homework! It was a wonderfully relaxing time
